In fact, a poorly-designed website is actually worse than having none at all. Nothing turns potential clients away faster than a frustrating web experience as a result of poor design, missing, incomplete or outdated information, irrelevant pictures, unreadable text or an over-reliance on 'flash' rather than substance. Even acceptable but boring sites may drive customers to competitors who have a better web presence. Attractive design, intuitive lay-out, and readable copy that draws one in make a website truly shine in the eyes of potential clients. Couple that with interactive maps, photos of your product line, and relevant links, and you'll get the most bang for your buck.
As part of our basic package, we employ techniques of SEO (search engine optimization), which uses specific keywords and phrases to target your audience and result in a higher ranking in search enginges. In addition, we will submit your final design to the top three search engines (Google, Yahoo and Bing), and provide a listing on yellowpages.com. The instant availability and convenience of a website means customers searching for you outside of normal business hours can find exactly what they need when they need it. This translates into happy customers, repeat business and new clients.
We have two options available. Most people today have at least some understanding of how to operate a computer. The basic and enhanced package rates include full website training at the time of handover. If you have ever written an email, surfed the web or checked your status on Facebook, you can update your own website once given the proper tools. For those that do not wish to update their own sites, we offer our total package, which includes up to 12 updates per year (first year included in the package price; afterward, an annual fee of $75 will apply and will include the same maximum 12 updates per year).
All of our website packages include the actual site design, as well as one year of free hosting and custom domain registration - a complete package, so to speak (many other web designers will charge additional monies for hosting and domain registration). The only other expense you may incur is nominal charges for graphics that may need to be purchased for your site. We will try, at all times, to keep these expenses to a bare minimum. After the first year, you will be responsible to renew the domain registration and continue hosting your website, the cost of which is less than $7/month, depending on the size of your site. Be sure to thoroughly review our terms and conditions for website design. Marketing projects are quoted individually based on the nature, size and complexity of the job.
A 50% deposit will be required when the agreement is signed, at which point we will start work on your site. The final payment, to include the 50% of the original contract agreement plus any additional charges, will be due at the time of the website turnover. For your convenience, we accept Paypal, cash, or company check. If paying by personal check, there will be a delay of 7 days while the check clears. A $30 returned check fee shall also apply.
